Pet Crickets?

No these are not pets but food for our Lefty Lizard.  However we do need to treat them like pets.

 No no I don't mean pet them and snuggle them but feed them water them and keep their home clean.  They have egg carton pieces to hide in and I have to clean it out once or twice a week if I want them to stay healthy and alive until feeding time.

We also have to feed them a good source of food.  We chose calcium boosted cricket food because of Lefty's original condition that lead to his bad leg.

This is one of many things pet owners need to consider when choosing to take in a new non human family member.
